Fremantle Hospital ward reconfiguration

Group of nurses on hospital ward
Hustle and bustle on 8 North as nursing staff move patients onto the new ward
October 30, 2017

Fremantle Hospital is Western Australia’s largest specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgery and specialist medical services.

To allow for future growth, some of the wards at Fremantle Hospital are being reconfigured. The new configuration will see all services located as closely as possible.

From Monday 30 October, patients on wards V6, 7 North and 8 South will be moved to new wards at Fremantle Hospital.

The needs of our patients remains our highest priority, and all staff help patients settle into their new hospital ward.

The reconfiguration will not impact on your surgery date or high-quality level of care.

Visiting hours and your telephone number will remain the same.

Information for patients (PDF 97KB) and their family or carer is available.
