Interactive GP learning event – Vulnerable Minds, Fragile Bones and Planned Ageing

GPs are invited to attend a collaborative and interactive learning event, which will also provide opportunities for clinical engagement between GPs and Fremantle Hospital specialists.

The event, to be held on Saturday 9 June, is presented by South Metropolitan Health Service and Fremantle Hospital in partnership with WA Primary Health Alliance and HealthPathways WA.

Presentations include:

  • Managing Difficult to Treat Depression: New vs Traditional Agents, Medication Substitution, Practical Guidance
  • When Alcohol, Other Drugs and Mental Health Collide: Detox, Rehab and Supporting Clients through the Process
  • Update on Older Persons Mental Health: Targeted Aspects with an Aged Care Focus (e.g. dementia, memory)

The event has 40 Category 1 QI&CPD points. Parking vouchers are available and morning tea and lunch will be provided.
