We provide physiotherapy services to inpatients and outpatients of Fremantle Hospital and Health Service, including the Moss Street Centre.
Clinical services include:
- orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation
- musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation
- continence and pelvic floor dysfunction
- cardiac rehabilitation
- pulmonary rehabilitation
- aged care rehabilitation and assessment
- neurological rehabilitation
- hand therapy
- amputee rehabilitation
The department is also a training facility for undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy students.

Outpatient Physiotherapy accepts GP referrals for clients within the Fremantle Hospital catchment area.
Outpatient Physiotherapy accepts GP referrals for clients within the Fremantle Hospital and Health Service catchment area.
Inpatient referrals are accepted from medical, nursing and allied health professionals by phone, e-referral, fax or ward pager.
Outpatient referrals are accepted from GPs and consultants. Patient referred from a GP are limited to a maximum of 8 visits within a 12 month period.
