The Public Relations Department coordinates effective communication between Fremantle Hospital and Health Service (FHHS), its staff, the local community and the media.
We provide specialist advice to staff on all aspects of communication, as well as developing communications campaigns and strategies to ensure FHHS makes positive appearances in the media.
We are the first point of contact for media queries and are responsible for managing onsite media visits.
Our other responsibilities include coordinating key announcements and events, managing ministerial and VIP visits, and producing a range of publications including brochures, booklets, flyers and posters.
We’re often seen at key hospital events, interviewing staff and taking photographs for publication in our quarterly newsletter Almanac, which is produced in-house and distributed across the organisation and the community.
We are also responsible for identifying and managing sponsorship opportunities and coordinating the Employee of the Month program.
