The Patient Transport Service is seeking friendly, enthusiastic and safe volunteer drivers to join their team.

The service supports eligible outpatients by driving them to and from clinic appointments at Fremantle Hospital.

It’s a great way to meet new people, support the hospital and local community.

Volunteer drivers will be on shift for three to five hours on their rostered days. Lunch and morning tea are provided.

Volunteers drive dedicated hospital vehicles which have an automatic transmission.

Eligible applicants will:

  • have a current C-class drivers licence
  • be a safe and confident driver
  • be able to support patients into and out of the vehicle (training provided).

For more information or to express your interest, contact Patient Transport Coordinator Jeff Davey on 9431 2805 or Jeffery.Davey@health.wa.gov.au.
