Fremantle Hospital enrolled nurse, Irene Chan, has been named a finalist in the state’s most prestigious nursing awards – the WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards (WANMEA).

Irene was nominated by staff development nurse Sally Lawry for always being a strong advocate for her patients and adopting a person centred approach.

“She goes above and beyond and really is one of those nurses who make a difference!”
